CHIMNEY

Made of 3 layers medium Density Fiberboard glued with Titebond III Ultimate Wood glue.

APRON

Cabinet grade domestic plywood – maple veneer (not imported ) is what we use for our Apron.

BACK

It includes a mounting cleat plywood , to facilitate the hanging.

We use cabinet grade plywood ( maple ) ,and Medium density fiber board ( MDF )for the Chimney, the moulding is made of solid wood maple.

If you want to upgrade your kitchen with a beautiful Custom range Hood , you can use your own Ventilator (or Insert ) or you can buy a less expensive Insert. We are going to need the dimensions to make sure the Ventilator fit.

Frequently asked questions

No , we don’t but we recommend a few brands like Broan and Tradewinds for our standard sizes.

Since the top part or Chimney is made of MDF (Medium Density Fiberboard) you can use any kind of topcoat like : lacquer , water base paint , polyurethane etc. you can treat the MDF like it is a wood . The only thing we don’t recommend is using any kind of stain . The bottom part or Apron is made of high quality plywood (Maple) and is perfect if you want to use Stain to topcoat it will enriched the grain, or you can topcoat it with the other products we mention above.

At the moment we are selling our Hoods unfinished. We do not prime or paint the exterior of the hood

That is to help the interior of the surface from the humidity created when cooking.
